  I went to "campus dental care" in Berkeley.
  The dentist told me that I needed a more serious mouth care than the basic one, but that I would not be afraid because I have good medical insurance and that the secretary would come and tell me the prices.
  I wait a few minutes and the secretary arrives. Apparently my insurance covers only the usual cleaning and not the cleaning they want to do to me. It'll cost me $ 65.
  Well, I'm used to such capitalistic tricks, so I ask her what is the difference between the treatments. She explains that I have more bacteria and therefore they have to give me all kinds of other substances against the bacteria.
  Lets start with the basic treatment and then we'll see, I reply.
  And then it happens,
  She gets annoyed and tells me that they can not do only the basic treatment.
  Why? I ask
  I've already explained to you, you have too many germs, She answers.
  Then I reply, and why should not I start with the basic treatment and she says again that they cannot do just the basic one.
  Well, I'd like to see the doctor so he'll give me more details, I reply.
  The secretary is about to explode!
  I did not see someone so annoyed just because a question (well, I've seen it happen here at Berkeley at restaurants, waiters who for some reason get annoyed when I ask couple of questions about the menu ... How dare I want to get more information to get the right choice for me?? unheard of!)
  She goes to talk to the doctor and soon returns telling me he is treating someone else.
  No problem, I'll wait for him, I reply.
  No! He will not come. He's very busy, She answers.
  But I need more information, I explain.
  I already gave you all the information, the secretary answers..
  Meanwhile, I see her close and open her pen nervously. If she continues to press the pen so fast, she will break the laws of physics and pass the speed of light, I think to myself.
  I try to calm her down and say, I see I've upset you. All I want is to see your doctor to get more information.
  And again, no! He will not come, you have all the information, she repeats her self like a robot.
  I think about the situation and she adds, if you want you can go. I see we're not right for you, maybe you should find another doctor.
  Hmm ... a thin hint.
  What is going on here?
  Why was she so upset?
  
  For some reason, asking questions is something that is not accepted here. Perhaps they are afraid that the Secret Service will jump and stop them from disclosing classified information?
  What, are we in communist China?
  Well, in the meantime I understood that I cannot win this one, and I remembered my mother that told me not to play with my health.
  So, OK, I agreed to pay them for a treatment that apparently was worthless..
  And I ask you,
  what the hell?
  Why didn't they give me the option to do the basic treatment?
  and Why didn't they give me the option to see the doctor again?
  is it so much to ask?
  I just needed more information and someone that can really explain for me the situation in order to understand if I really need that treatment.
  
  I'm very disappointed, I will never come back, unbelievable, worst service ever
