  We like that this school starts at 9am (instead of 8am) and is close to our house. That said, the teachers have been a mix. The principal who just retired handled a situation where my kid was assaulted really badly, we hope the new one is better.
  
  In previous years we had to look at a printout on the side of the school to see what class the kid is in - this year I requested that they email families instead, fingers crossed.
